Rocking Out for KidSport
Not all kids have the opportunity to be involved in sports -- for some families, the cost to register or purchase equipment is out of reach. For those kids from low income families who dream of hitting a home run, playing goalie or shooting hoops, there's KidSport.
As a fundraiser for KidSport, we invited Pengrowth employees to a live, on-stage "Rockband" competition. Not only was the event a lot of fun to watch, it also raised enough money to pay for more than a dozen kids to enjoy an organized sport in their community.
